These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed via www.aifcandles.nl.

Article 1 Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

Aifcandles the sole proprietorship offering products to consumers via the webshop

Consumer the natural person placing an order without a business purpose

Distance contract an order placed entirely online

Right of withdrawal the consumer's right to cancel the purchase within the statutory period

Day a calendar day

Article 2 Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer from Aifcandles and to every order placed via the webshop.

Before completing an order, these terms and conditions will be clearly made available.

Article 3 The Offer

The offer contains a complete and as accurate as possible description of the products.

As many candles are handmade or hand-finished, small variations in color or shape may occur. This is inherent to the product and is not considered a defect.

Obvious errors or mistakes in pricing do not bind Aifcandles.

If a product is temporarily unavailable, this will be stated on the product page.

Article 4 The Agreement

The agreement is concluded as soon as the consumer has completed the order via the webshop.

Aifcandles confirms the order by email.

Orders will only be processed after successful payment.

Article 5 Right of Withdrawal

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receipt.

After notifying the return, the consumer has another 14 days to return the product.

Return shipments are at the consumer's own expense.

The full purchase amount will be refunded once the return has been received and checked.

If you paid shipping costs with your order, you will receive these back.

For free shipping, no additional amount will be reimbursed because no shipping costs were paid.

Conditions for return

The product must be unused and in its original, intact packaging

LED candles shipped in a mailbox package will not be accepted due to breakage risk

Damaged products or packaging may lead to a reduction in value

Returns must be notified in advance by email

Returns sent outside the deadline will not be reimbursed

Exclusion of withdrawal

Custom-made or personalized products cannot be returned

Article 6 Exchange

Exchanges are possible by returning the original item and placing a new order.

Returns for exchange are always at your own expense.

Refunds will be processed according to the return conditions once the return has been received and checked.

Article 7 Obligations of the Consumer During the Reflection Period

The consumer will handle the product and packaging with care.

If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, they will return the product with all supplied accessories and, if reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging.

Article 8 Delivery

Orders will be delivered to the address provided by the consumer.

Aifcandles aims for shipment within 1 to 3 working days.

If delivery is delayed, the consumer will be notified.

If delivery proves impossible, the order will be canceled and the paid amount refunded.

Article 9 Prices and Payment

All prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

Payment takes place via the payment methods offered in the webshop.

An order will only be processed once payment has been received in full.

Article 10 Warranty and Conformity

Statutory warranty applies.

A product must meet what the consumer can reasonably expect from it.

Color and structural differences in handmade or hand-finished products fall within the product characteristics.

Article 11 Complaints

Complaints can be submitted via info@aifcandles.nl

Aifcandles will respond within 14 days of receiving the complaint.

Article 12 Liability

Aifcandles is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the products, such as placing them in unsuitable holders or exposure to direct sunlight.

Liability is always limited to the amount of the relevant order.

Article 13 Force Majeure

Aifcandles is not obliged to fulfill obligations if this is impossible due to circumstances beyond its control, such as malfunctions, fire, natural disasters, or problems with suppliers.

Article 14 Privacy

Aifcandles processes personal data according to the privacy policy published on the website.

Personal data will only be used for processing orders and will not be provided to third parties without consent, unless legally required.

Article 15 Applicable Law

All agreements between Aifcandles and the consumer are governed by Dutch law.

Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
